I bought this for my wife to replace her 10 yr old laptop. It is fast. Sturdy. Came with Win11. As with all the new computers, Microsoft Word, Excel ect is a separate purchase. Battery charges quickly and holds its charge for a long time. She is so happy. So am I.

This will be a short review but hopefully helpful. The laptop performance is top notch, and overall that is the most important thing. But the keyboard is in my opinion pretty bad. I get a lot of missed strokes, specially on the numeric pad. I always make sure to buy laptops with dedicated numeric pads because I work a lot with numbers. But this keyboard misses strokes, the key moves, but you find yourself missing the strokes, this causes you to be a lot slower on your data entry tasks, because you have to double check and correct, or be extra careful when hitting the keys. This is easily solved by purchasing an external high quality keyboard, which is what I��ll do. But still in my opinion a big miss by MSI in this laptop. Thought this was important to note.

I got this when it was on sale for $1,150 and that's a total steal for what you get. Specs are quite great for what you pay but the few flaws it has prevent me from giving 5 stars. I'm only gonna repeat what's been written already but the speakers are next to useless, as is the fingerprint scanner (which only works about 25% of the time). Opening the laptop was quite easy, as I replaced the hard drive with a Samsung Pro 990 and customer service was fast, simple, efficient. I contacted them on their website for live chat tech help and in 20 minutes, problem solved!Overall, I would say I'm super satisfied with this purchase. I am coming from a Dell XPS 15 purchased just 3 years ago and was worried that a "less than high end" laptop would be a disappointment. (The buttons on the Dell were a critical flaw for me so I can't go back until that changes....) I'm glad I took the chance.
